Why I love Pittwater Palms

We have just had Mothers Day and the social network was filled with beautiful messages and posts on why we love and your declaration of love to our mums and mothers and grandmothers.

Maybe you have just visited your mother and you realised that she is getting a little older and more frail?
From experience I have found that many inquiries happen directly after Mothers Day for retirement village apartments and places that may suit their mothers and older parents.

A few things why I love the the Retirement Village at Avalon Beach known as Pittwater Palms

  1. The location: Absolutely level easy walk stroll and an easy electric scooter ride into the main village of Avalon Beach. Pittwater Palms is the one of the only Retirement Village on the Northern Beaches that offers a level walk into the village and to the beach.
  2. The Choice and Selection: At Pittwater Palms there are 2 distinct types of Retirement Village living options. One is Assisted care living where all your needs are catered for. The Assisted care its are start tiles and start from $125,000 .The only thing you need to top up on is your Moet Champagne and the tim tams everything else provided. The other accommodation offered are the Independent units. These are strata title units are range from 1 bedrooms, 3 types and sizes of 2 bedrooms and 3 bedroom units. The price starts from $680,000
  3. Strata Title: This is quite unique! Most Retirement Villages are usually leasehold and you are beholden to the Village Owner. Here at Pittwater Palms the resident own the complex and have a Village Manager to run the very day needs. You can renovate your unit to your taste and remember if you are doing structural work you will need to get the Strata Committee approval first. So that means you can paint the walls pink and put mirrors on the ceiling if you so desire ( woohoo)
  4. The Gardens: Pittwater Palms is surrounded by a beautiful big garden with wildlife corridors. The resentments have their say about how the gardens are maintained. Such a lush green environment
  5. The People: It is no wonder why the locals live and love working at Pittwater Palms. This makes the Village a special caring place.
  6. Independence: Its your choice, your independence. You can be as independent as much as you like. You are respected for that independence and there is support when you need it.
  7. Lock Up and Leave: Some of the residents lock and leave and head off for a long holiday. Other residents rent their apartments out, As it is a Strata Title unit you can rent the unit up to 12 months. We have tenants looking a bit of a try before you buy.
  8. Facilities: Heated swimming pool, billiard room, 24 hour emergency call button. Supportive staff at hand 24 hours 7 days a week. Library, games room art and craft room and Club lounge room are just some of the facilities.
